We are tryin to be really healthy in Senior Infants. We are trying lots of different fruit and vegetables this month and this week the mams and dads came in and cut up melon and cucumber for us to try. Some of us had never had these before and we were surprised how much we liked it. We cleared the two trays and were even looking for more!
We did a class experiment about floating and sinking. First we had to predict whether màla would float or sink in water. We made balls first out of the màla and they didn't float so using the same amount of màla we had to think of what we could make that would float in the water. The boys are girls in senior infants are so clever and they thought of making boats straight away. They made the sides high so no water could get in and made sure there were no cracks in their boats. They even put people in their boats to see would they still float with extra weight!
