We got 10 stars for being the best line at break time so we went to the park. It was great fun and it was a lovely spring day!

Chicks

We loved having the chicks in our classroom last week. We loved petting them and seeing how much they had grown from when they hatched out of their eggs.

World Book Day

We loved talking about our favourite books and dressing up as our favourite characters!

Mindful Movements

We love mindful movements in 1st Class. We love stretching and breathing and turning into different animals. It's great fun

Flowers

Check out our lovely experiments we did with Mùinteoir Stephen. We used food colouring to show that flowers drink water through their stems. The flowers changed colour by drinking the water with food colouring in it.

Magnets

We are learning all about the north and south pole in January. The children now know that magnets have a north and south pole also. They loved making the magnets attract and repel and testing the different types of magnets to see which materials were made of metal.

Laptops

The children love working on the laptops in 1st Class. They are all so engrossed and super at taking turns also.
