Talk to your child about spring. We had great fun making this spring display. Every group made something different.

Valentines Day Cake

We had a lovely Valentine's Day and made a love heart cake. It was yummy.

Celebrations!!

Mùinteoir Niamh brought in her All Ireland Cup she won last weekend in Dublin with her basketball team. The boys and girls were so excited. We talked about how important it is to play sport and keep healthy and join clubs to try different sports and make new friends.

Friendship Tree

The yellow flag committee made this lovely friendship tree for our school and each class was assigned a colour to use to put their fingerprints on the tree. 1st class was assigned green and the tree will look beautiful when it's all completed.

Guide dogs

Thanks to Marian and her beautiful guide dog Yazz who came in to teach us all bout guide dogs and the important job they do. The children loved meeting Yazz and seeing all the things he is able to do to help Marian with her daily life.

Mindful Movements

We have started our mindful movements programme on Wednesdays which relates to our Mindup programme that we are undergoing in the classroom. The children are super at their mindfulness and brain breaks.

Attendance Awards

Well done to the boys and girls who attended school everyday from Sept to Christmas. Mùinteoir Michelle and Mùinteoir Paula came in to congratulate them and give them prizes! There will be more prizes going from Jan to Easter!
